How to Choose an AI Marketplace (2026 Buyer's Guide)
By Fadi Al-Achek ·
Choosing an AI marketplace is a buying decision, not a second homepage. You want a place that says what the file is, what it needs to run, and what happens to the money. This guide is that checklist. The catalog is the AI marketplace on the AIMarket24 homepage and on the AI marketplace page. Read the checks here, then open a live listing there.

Start with the job, then open the marketplace
People who search for an AI marketplace usually want one of two things. They want a tool that already does a job, or they want to sell one they already run. The job might be qualifying leads, answering the same support questions, importing a workflow into n8n, or connecting Claude to a database. Write that job in one sentence before you compare stores. A store that cannot say whether you are looking at an agent, a workflow, a bot, or a prompt is going to waste the next hour.
AIMarket24 is the catalog for that sentence. It is not a model host and it does not sell API credits. If a listing needs a model, the seller writes down who brings the key. This guide does not replace the catalog. Live rows are on the homepage and on the AI marketplace page, from that same database.
Eight product types, so the listing is specific
Every listing uses one of eight product types: AI agents, workflows and automations, plugins and MCP servers, bots, code and apps, prompts and prompt packs, APIs, and services. The type is the first filter because a workflow you import into n8n is not the same purchase as a hosted bot or a done-for-you setup. Buyers can also filter by 16 categories such as office and productivity, marketing and SEO, sales, research, customer support, developer tools, data, image and video, voice, models and APIs, plugins and MCP, security, education, and industry tools.
A listing has to say what the buyer receives: files, access, a license, updates. It has to say what the product needs to run, such as API keys, accounts, or hosting, and how long setup takes. That written scope is what escrow later compares against the delivery. If the description is vague, the buyer cannot confirm, and the seller cannot point at a promise.
How a purchase is protected
The buyer pays into escrow. The seller is paid after the buyer confirms delivery, or automatically 3 days after delivery if no problem is reported. A bank payout is a later step and is not an instant transfer.
Duplicate listings are rejected when an upload is 95% or more similar to something already in the catalog, so a copy of someone else’s workflow does not sit beside the original under a new name. Sellers can also order an optional code audit. It covers security issues, risky dependencies, code quality, and license. A passed audit shows as a badge. The badge is a review of the code, not a promise that the product will fit your business.
Selling on the marketplace
Listing on AIMarket24 is free. The platform keeps 15% of each sale. The first 50 sellers who publish a live listing are founding sellers and pay 5% for six months. You choose a product type and categories, describe the delivery, and show the product working if you can: a screenshot of real output or a short demo. Buyers of AI products ask the same questions on every marketplace: what is included, what it costs to run, who supports it, and what happens if the file does not match the page.
Sellers publish from an account. Listing is free, and the commission is taken only when a sale completes. Accounts can also receive 7 days of Premium and 50 build tokens. One build token is $1, and tokens pay for a custom bot from the workshop. The workshop is for something that does not exist yet. The marketplace is for something that does.
How this differs from a general download store
General digital stores are built for e-books, courses, and memberships. They can host a zip file of a workflow, but they do not ask the seller to name the product type, the runtime, or the credentials. An AI marketplace is narrower on purpose. The buyer is trying to avoid a month of building. The useful page is the one that answers setup, permissions, and running cost, not the one with the widest catalog of unrelated downloads.
If you are comparing stores, read the fee on the store’s own pricing page and the fee here, which is the 15% above, or 5% for founding sellers. Do not treat a directory blurb or a social post as the price. AIMarket24’s comparison of Gumroad, PromptBase, the n8n Creator Hub, and the GPT Store is a separate article, and the side-by-side pages linked below stay inside the figures those companies publish.
Bots on this marketplace for AI
A support team that wants a website chat should start with a chatbot, not an autonomous agent. A developer who wants Claude to query a database should start with an MCP server. A person who already runs an n8n workflow should read the selling guide before picking a number. Bots that already exist are on the bots marketplace. A bot that does not exist yet is a bot marketplace order.
Nothing on this page is a ranking or a traffic claim. Live listings are on the AI marketplace page, not in this guide. The rules are the same as on the rest of the site: product types, categories, a 15% commission or 5% for founding sellers, escrow, and a 95% similarity check.
