Crypto Trading Bot Starter, Paper Default
Binance paper bot with breakout and mean-reversion, 1% and 3% risk caps, and a fee-aware backtester. No profit guarantees.

About this app
A Python starter for Binance spot. Paper mode is the default: it replays prices and does not send orders. Two long-only strategies are included, momentum breakout and mean reversion. A backtester charges fees on both sides and only lets a signal see bars that have already closed. The fill is the next bar's open. Risk limits are hard caps, not suggestions. Planned loss at the stop cannot be set above 1% of equity. After a 3% realized loss in a day, new entries stop. A kill switch blocks new entries. A gap through the stop can still lose more than 1%, and the backtest shows that loss instead of hiding it. Testnet orders, if you turn them on, go to Binance's spot testnet. Live orders require an explicit confirmation and still pass the same caps. You bring your own API keys. They are not in this download. A prompt pack asks your own model to review or edit a strategy without weakening those caps and without promising profits. This product does not guarantee profits or returns. Past backtests are not a forecast. You can lose money.
Problem it solves
A trading starter is easy to overtrust. This one keeps paper mode on, puts fees in the backtest, and refuses risk settings above 1% per trade and 3% per day so a first run cannot quietly size up.

Known issues
Paper fills are a model, not an exchange. Gaps can lose more than the planned 1% stop. The sample prices are synthetic. Live trading can lose money and is off unless you confirm it. Nothing in the backtest is a promise of profit.
